A lot of times when a teen sees someone struggling and they are with their friends they don't stop and talk to the person or anything they act like they are invisible and go on with their normal life. When you look some one in the eye at the store in the check out line and actually talk to them and let them know that you notice them because if that person is having a bad day then you have two choices, to ask them how their day is and let them know that you see them because that could make their day become a good day in stead of a bad one, or you could ignore them and act like they are just another shadow.

Kids
So lately I've been thinking about how little kids just see someone who is alone at... school or at the play ground or just alone, they go up to them and say 'do you want to be friends?' the little girl or boy nods and they act like they have known each other for a life time... they don't act fake they just show how they are really on the inside... they show there true heart and and what they are thinking. They talk to the little girl or boy about what they where feeling.

I so agree. It's like it would hurt them to stop and talk for a minuet. But if you just give them a little smile, or even just a little hello, it might change their day. Great post, Abby!
